# Use Cases

**Corporate treasuries.** Companies with idle stablecoin or dollar reserves can split between liquid ELUSD for day-to-day operations and sELUSD for yield on the rest.

**Fund managers.** Digital asset funds can park dry powder in sELUSD between deployments instead of letting stablecoins sit idle. Redemption runs through the primary market and is subject to the liquidity framework rather than being instant at any size — see [Liquidity Framework](https://docs.elara.fi/architecture/liquidity-framework).

**Protocol treasuries.** DAOs sitting on stablecoin reserves can put them to work through sELUSD without actively managing positions. ELUSD and sELUSD are standard ERC-20 tokens and can be held alongside other treasury assets. There is currently no external DEX liquidity and no money market listings, so redemption through the Vault is the operative exit today.

**Qualified individuals.** For investors comfortable with managed digital asset exposure who want a dollar-denominated yield product. ELUSD is not a bank deposit and not a fiat-backed stablecoin — it is an actively managed position and should be assessed as one.

**Availability.** Elara is not available to U.S., UK, EU/EEA or Singapore persons, or to anyone in a jurisdiction where access would be prohibited or restricted. See [Governance & Access Controls](https://docs.elara.fi/risk-and-security/governance-access-controls) before evaluating any of the above.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Returns are not guaranteed and capital is at risk. Losses reduce the sELUSD share price, and losses exceeding the yield earned to date reach the backing for unstaked ELUSD. See [Risk Management](https://docs.elara.fi/risk-and-security/risk-management).
